ANIMAL REIKI

What is Reiki and what is it good for?

Reiki is an energy healing treatment that helps balance physical, emotional, mental and energetic properties within the body.

All life is made up of energy and animals operate and interact on an energy level.

Energy centres in the body known as Chakras correspond to different physical attributes and by balancing these energy centres the physical body is also addressed, everything is related and interconnected.

You know yourself if you have a physical injury this will affect your mood and it’s the same for animals, it will play out in their behaviour if there is something not quite right because they cannot vocalise it as we can.

A Reiki healer has been attuned to be a channel for energy, and that energy will go where it is needed within the body to address any physical, emotional, mental and energetic imbalances within the recipient, it will help promote natural healing on a physical level and help relieve stress and anxieties on an emotional and mental level, therefore encouraging a much calmer, positive and relaxed state of being which should show in their overall behaviour.

Reiki is not harmful in any way, it is not to replace veterinarian medicine but works in conjunction with it, though always speak to your vet if you have any concerns before making an appointment.

What happens in a session:

The treatment will take place at the animal's home so they are in a familiar environment, the usual length of time for a session is 45 minutes to an hour but this will always depend on the recipient, it does not have to be hands-on if the animal is not comfortable with that, the outcome will still be the same.

Remember the energy will go where it is needed most within the body first.

Most animals will need at least 4-6 sessions but you should observe an increase in wellness after the first session.
